Here is another find in a bulk lot I found and purchased on Facebook Marketplace. This would fall under the retro category, but has a very common procedure to motherboards I have no idea the condition of. When I received the motherboard, the fan was removed and the chipset heatsink was mostly coming off, but looked like it most likely would work.

First in inspecting the motherboard, I looked for any bulged capacitor tops, in which I found none.  I also looked for any corrosion on the board, but this one was clean. I also look for any bent pins on the LGA socket and this was also good.

I have all the mounting hardware and CPU fan so all to do was apply heat sink grease and attach the disconnected items.

Upon booting the motherboard, I did get a memory error, but after reducing to one stick of known good memory, that cleared the error and the motherboard was able to post.
